Lightweight and citrusy
I have used a few Andalou products so when I was looking for a new Vitamin C serum this one caught my eye - probably because of the bright orange glass bottle. Not only is the packaging bright and cheerful but the scent of this serum is intoxicating - so citrusy and alive - I could smell it all day. This lightweight serum spreads so easily over my skin and absorbs quickly. It is also quick drying and leaves a lovely smooth canvas on my skin allowing other products to apply with ease. I keep my bottle in the fridge during the warmer months so the application experience is even more relaxing. One to two short pumps of the serum is all that is needed to cover my face and neck. I have been using this serum for about four weeks and I can already see that my skin is more radiant and my skin tone is much more even.
I am onto my second bottle of this and have been using it every morning under a daily moisturiser. I am really enjoying using it, it is very lightweight, slightly watery in texture and absorbs really quickly into the skin. It has a wonderful citrus smell and feels very fresh when applied. It comes in a very eyecatching orangle pump bottle that can get a little messy as the product is quite watery, I get away with 1.5 pumps to do my face and neck. I havent seen any outstanding results in terms of being tighter, but I do feel as though my skin seems less sallow and is brighter after a month's use. It will be a good product going into summer because its so lightweight.
Rise and shine - That's exactly what I feel like as soon as this serum touches my face every morning. The fragrance itself is so refreshing like freshly squeezed oranges. Made with all natural ingredients, It's quite light weight and absorbs quickly on dry clean skin and even better after a scrub. One and half pump of this light yellow watery fluid is enough to cover the whole face and neck. I love everything about this product - beautiful orange packing, easy to use pump, texture and most of all the effect. It's been less than a week and I can already see a brighter tone with less blemishes. Would definitely consider buying it again.
I liked the concept behind this serum but I think the concept failed to meet expectations. The serum provided light moisturisation without really providing much in the way of high impact brightening. Other products in this range have greater efficacy than this serum, which is a shame. The pump also puts out more product than what is required, so there was a bit of wastage. Shame.
I don't know about the science behind plant stem cells and the vitamin C in this serum is probably too low of a percentage to be very effective. However this is a lovely light oil based serum with lots of beneficial ingredients for the skin including turmeric, borage oil, sunflower oil and hyaluronic acid. I have very dry skin and I find this lovely; those with oily skin may find it a little too oily. The packaging is excellent; it comes in an airtight container with a pump. A lovely serum at a reasonable price.
