How does Tigi Bed Head Small Talk describe itself? “3-IN-1 THICKIFIER, ENERGIZER, STYLIZER. Thickifier – adds body and volume. Energizer – gives life to limp hair. Stylizer – defines, separates and controls”

What we think Sometimes products that offer to do several things at once can turn out to be jack of all trades and master of none. That is, they are reasonably good at some of the things they offer but they don’t excel in any of them. Thankfully, this product does not fall into that trap.

Support – The support it offers is good. Yes, there are other products out there that offer rock-solid support that is perhaps better than this but for the vast majority of people, this should truly satisfy their needs. Thickening – This is where the Tigi Bed Head Small Talk product really excels. We’ve not found anything on the market that can beat it in terms of thickening and volumising your hair, however thin it is. Energizing – Once again, the product excels here. The styles that you can create with the product are fabulous and it doesn’t leave your hair looking lank or tired. Instead, you have really exciting, energized hair.

The smell is very refreshing and lasts a long time which is fab. One good thing that they all reported was that you didn’t have to use much of the product which makes it excellent value for money.

What type of hair is it suitable for? Our team of testers have a range of hair types from normal to oily and dry. They all found the Tigi Bed Head Small Talk to work very well. All of our testers reported extra volume added to their hair and they all felt it helped revitalise their hair and roots.

Are there any downsides? Not really! We were very impressed with this product. As long as you follow the guidelines about applying it then you’ll have fabulous looking thicker and more energized hair.

How to use Tigi Bed Head Small Talk Tigi Bed Head Small Talk is really easy to use. Simply use the desired amount onto wet hair and style. It’s that simple!

Our overall score: 09/10

Tigi Bed Head Small Talk is a fantastic product that really delivers. If you are looking for a product that both styles and volumizes your hair, then this really should be at the top of your shopping list.

Hey ladies, Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to give you all a product review of Tigi Bed Head's Small Talk. The bottle describes the product as a "thickifier", "energizer", and "stylizer", but it's basically a product designed to give those with thinner strands more volume, body, and thickness. Anyways, it's my mom's product [her hair isn't that thick] and I don't really need anymore thickness or body, but I thought that I'd try it b/c I loooooooooooove how it smells and I thought it would be interesting to see what a volumizer would do to my hair. Anyway, I applied the product to my hair while it was wet, combed it through [very easily might I add, I guess it has some detangling properties too], and then sectioned my hair into 4 parts and twisted them up into bantu knots. I then sat under the dryer for about an hour, took the knots out and pulled them apart. My hair was still pretty damp and didn't appear to have any extra body, but it smelled great so I was fine with it. Well, about an hour later, my hair had completely dried [no frizzies!!], and was just as curly, and full as can be! I loved my results!! I'm sorry that I don't have pics, but I will be trying this again soon and will take them and post at a later date. Although I personally won't use this product on a daily basis because I don't really need it, I will use it on styles that would look good with a little extra body and I would def. recommend this for any ladies that feel they could use an extra boost in volume or body. Oh, and added bonus, I got several compliments on my hair, including from the guy I hung out with last night who gave me lots of compliments and kept saying how good my hair smelled! He couldn't keep his hands out of my hair, lol!

LOL you're welcome. I forgot to add that it's a bit pricey also. My mom was given half a bottle of it, but the price label is still on. An 8 fl.oz. bottle is sold at Supercuts for about $15.95.

Yeah, Girl I know about the prices. I have a few other Bed Head products that I really like. Good thing a little goes along way, LOL

What does Bed Head small talk do?

Small TalkTM Thickening Cream is Bed Head's secret weapon for incredibly thick and voluminous hair! This volumising cream amplifies volume, builds up body and creates thicker-looking hair. The hair styling product also prevents static buildup and smooths frizz and flyaways. For frizz-free volumised hair!

Do you use Bed Head small talk on wet or dry hair?

It works best applied to damp hair, right before blow-drying. A little goes a long way, even with long hair.

Why is TIGI discontinued?

Tigi has undergone a bit of a makeover of late, with new products popping up and older products disappearing slowly. Don't despair if an old love has suddenly gone missing from the website, because chances are it's been reformulated, repackaged and renamed, and is is in fact better than ever.

Is Bed Head Tigi good for your hair?

If I could give this product six stars I would. It does a great job at bringing the softness and shine back to my damaged hair. I use it in combination with it's a 10 leave in spray, which is what I always do anyway. I definitely have not found a product that works as well as this one.
