INTEL LOCATION

Operation 40
Intel 1 (1/3) – In the villa’s armory (the building where Mason says, “Today’s the day we succeed.”) look for an RPG-7 leaning against a crate. The intel machine is on top of that crate.

Intel 2 (2/3) – As you escape towards the front of the villa, you will see Bowman come out of a spare bedroom firing repeatedly into the chest of an enemy. Head into that spare bedroom and check out the nightstand for this tape player.

Intel 3 (3/3) - Inside the first hangar you encounter past the fast-rope, locate some boarding stairs -- these are the stairs used to board small planes back before the passage of the 19th Amendment. The tape player is resting on top of the boarding stairs.

Vorkuta
Intel 4 (1/3) - In the building where you use the slingshot, locate the intercom station where Reznov stops briefly. There is a tape player on top of the equipment there.

Intel 5 (2/3) - From the shutter release control booth, head out the door and stop. Turn to Mason's left about 120° and go past the stairs. You will locate a small room with a tape player inside.

Intel 6 (3/3) - Before you get on the motorbike, check the shelf behind Reznov's motorcycle for a tape player.

Executive Order
Intel 7 (1/3) - Inside the main comms facility, check the 3rd floor before you climb up the ladder to the roof. Since the last two enemies cannot descend the ladder, feel free to explore the comms room before moving on.

Intel 8 (2/3) - Inside the control booth you breach into to stop the Soyuz launch. It is atop the control panels in the corner. You may stop the launch and look for it afterwards.

Intel 9 (3/3) - In the maintenance tunnels, you will enter a room with a white tiled floor. Just past this room is a hallway and two doors -- one goes to a locker room, the other to a room with a portrait of Lenin. The intel is in the room with Lenin's portrait. Stand next to his picture and put his bald mug 180° behind Mason. To your right is a door, and the tape player is next to this door.

S.O.G.
Intel 10 (1/3) - In the first clearing where you take down two NVA tanks, there is a back wall full of "set-dressing" artillery shells. There are also four hanging lights in this ammo shed. The tape player is between the two center lights, next to a white fuel drum.

Intel 11 (2/3) - This is in a bunker under the left-most napalm jelly barrel you knock over. Ignite the fire wall first, then you can explore. Head to the trench at the bottom of the hill and look back up the hill. Identify the right-most, bottom-most bunker (this is the one where the left barrel was). The tape player is in this bunker, resting on one of its gun-slits.

Intel 12 (3/3) - Fight up the ashen hill and enter the final tunnel. Before exiting the zone to the LRV/TOW attack versus the six tanks, check the corner to the exit's right. A PVT. Allen will be stumbling around. Behind this NPC is a tape player on the shelf.

The Defector

Intel 13 (1/3) - After Reznov at the safe room, there is a tape player in the small security room to the building's exit. If you step outside of the MACV building, you went too far.

Intel 14 (2/3) - On the street where the allied APC is destroyed by the enemy tank, there is a tape player inside one of the adjacent buildings. Put the Vietnamese movie theater (down the street) behind you and walk straight forwards until the edge of the map (a building) blocks you. The building that you're looking for is in the corner of the street, and on your right.

Intel 15 (3/3) - A tape player is in a corner building of the LZ. Look for a building with the sign "DAK"; there is an opening in the wall where you can head into this building (note that enemies spawn inside to attack you once you trigger them).

Numbers
Intel 16 (1/3) - Check out the room where you interrogate Clarke and you can find his work area in the corner. The tape player is in the work area.

Intel 17 (2/3) - Hudson and company will slide down a rooftop (and activate slow-motion) just before Clarke blows up his lab. While Clarke rails against Dagovitch, check under the cheap sheet metal overhang by the red barrel. There is a tape player under that overhang.

Intel 18 (3/3) - After Clarke leaves, you and Weaver will drop down a few rooftops. Count them. After the third drop, you will encounter open windows to an apartment with a red Chinese calendar on the wall. Past this unique feature, you drop once more onto reddish neon-lit sheet-metal roofing. Stop and turn around 180°. The tape player is on this small roof, hidden in the darkness.

Project Nova
Intel 19 (1/3) - In the building where Reznov or Dmitri says: "He's not here! He must be closer to the ship!" there is a black and white map of North America on the wall. The tape player is on the table near this map.

Intel 20 (2/3) - Past the base's first exterior walkway, you will enter a hangar with a single V2 missile on a cradle. This hangar has a tape player in its office.

Intel 21 (3/3) - There is a tape player on the ship's exterior before you escape. As you head towards the escape point, stick to the edge of the ship. You, as Reznov, will encounter a short flight of stairs to the escape winch on the forecastle (or the poop deck -- it could be either the bow or stern you are running to). The player is half-frozen in the ice on the deck. Be sure to claim it before leaving.

Victor Charlie
Intel 22 (1/3) - In the hooch with the sleeping soldiers. After dispatching the guy eating dinner, turn around 180°. The tape player is in the side room with the straw "barrel" (it's a rice basket).

Intel 23 (2/3) - The straw hut near the first VC tunnel/hole (and around the time where you destroy the enemy ZPU) has a tape player. If you can locate the tunnel entrance, the hut is right next to the hole in the ground. In the hut, check all the corners as the player is on the ground, obscured by junk.

Intel 24 (3/3) - After Reznov lets you take the lead, go into the left fork of the tunnel. A tape player is on the right side of this particular tunnel branch.

Crash Site
Intel 25 (1/3) - This tape player is retrieved before you get on the boat (if you already did, you're screwed. Restart the level). Locate the flaming drum barrel on the pier. There should be some background containers nearby; the player is on those containers.

Intel 26 (2/3) - In front of the PBR when it docks. Locate it by standing on the bow gun, then go straight ahead until you encounter a rock jutting out from the right side of the trail. The tape player should be on the ground near the rock.

Intel 27 (3/3) - Locate the rear entrance ramp of the plane. While the squad talks about the mission, identify a rock adjacent to this ramp. The tape player is next to this particular rock.
