So here you are is a little human, and you are one of about seven billion in the world. That's a lot. So here you are. What makes you different from all seven billion? Are you the same? Well, in many ways, there's a lot of things that are really similar. You probably have a ton of similarities. Like, you know, you all have two legs. Well, not everyone has two legs. Um, but for the most part, not as the average is most people on average, we also have, um you know, basic body parts. We've got heads, we have hearts, we have lungs. These are things that people are typically born with and almost everyone has. So what makes you different? Go. How can you tell you, apart from all these other people, Well, if we're thinking about different things, one of these things is the way that you think about the world. So the way that you think about the world is probably pretty unique to you. You might be similar to a handful of people, but you definitely have your own thoughts. And in addition to that, these thoughts might make you actually act with the world with a different way. So maybe you're somebody who cares about the environment. You're more prone to recycling cans. You have a friend who's like you in every other way. Except for they don't care about recycling cans. They just throw their cans right in the trash can. So you've got these thoughts and you have these different types of behaviors and they're pretty consistent. Throughout your life span, you might change certain things, but you have a certain constellation of them that stay the scene. What do we call this? This is something that is present within everyone, and there's different ways that we can think about this so as, Ah, quick little quiz to yourself. Would this be something that is object permanence? Yeah, that's a beard gap. No, because remember, object permanence is when in developmental psychology, when you realize that just because you can't see something doesn't mean it disappears. So it's definitely not object permanence. Is it the psychosexual stage? No, this isn't Freudian psychology. Remember, this is a different element of what he thinks that you're overcoming as you go across the life span. So it's definitely not this, Um, what about perception this almost seems like it fits, right? So you have different ways that you think you have different ways that you behave thinking could maybe fall into perception. You perceive the world in a different way. But perception doesn't actually have much to do with behavior, especially consistently. So is not perception. What we call this thes specific constellations of thoughts and behaviors over time is called the personality. This is what makes you distinctly different from other people, so this would be our right answer in this situation.
