Patriots' Day on the third Monday of April commemorates the battles of Lexington and Concord taking place near Boston in 1775. Do you confuse this day with Patriot Day? How to celebrate Patriots' DayIn the states of Massachusetts and Maine, the third Monday in April is a day off for all people from at work to school. In the area around Lexington and Concord, reenactments of the battles of 1775 and the events leading up to them are held. A special thing that is loved by most people was the opportunity to ring bells to alarm the local troops about approaching British troops. There are a lot of lectures, concerts and road races.
