The Forbes World Billionaires List 2022 has just been released showing that, with the increasing number of billionaires, the total assets of Vietnamese billionaires in 2022 will reach $21.2 billion, the highest ever.

With a total asset of $6.2 billion, Pham Nhat Vuong ranked 411th, down 67 places in Forbes’ 2022 list of world billionaires. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 in the US, VinFast announced its vision to become a 100% electric car company by the end of this year.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, CEO of Vietjet, with total assets of about $3.1 billion, ranks 984th.

Ho Hung Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), has a total asset value of about 2.3 billion USD, ranked 1,341 in the list of world billionaires 2022.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masan, has a total asset value of $ 1.9 billion, ranked 1,579. Mr. Tran Ba ​​Duong, Chairman of THACO’s Board of Directors, has a net worth of about 1.6 billion USD, ranking 1,818th.

Pham Nhat Vuong in top 300 of Forbes rich list

VOV.VN  -Pham Nhat Vuong, owner of real estate conglomerate Vingroup and Vietnam's first billionaire, has earned a place on the list of the world's richest people as compiled by Forbes magazine.

The magazine ranks him in 296th place with a net worth of US$6.1 billion.

Vuong is placed behind three foreign billionaires, including Acharya Balkrishna (India), Wei Jianjun (China), and Yao Liangsong (China), who are all of equal wealth to him.

According to Forbes, Pham Nhat Vuong studied in Russia and started a popular instant noodle business in Ukraine in the 1990s before moving back to his home country.
