Jenson Button faced penalties for crashing into his teammate, red flags, dry-wet conditions and six pit stops, but managed to claim victory on the very final tour of the track. It’s a race that will live long in the memory of all interested in Formula 1 – except possible Sebastian Vettel. The short, high-speed circuit offers a great challenge to the drivers, as was proved in 1999. All three champions on track – Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve – went into the wall at the final chicane. This has since seen the section of track christened the ‘Wall of Champions’, and is an overwhelming challenge for all the drivers. Is F1 general admission worth it Montreal?We walked the entire race area, but was disappointed to not find any decent viewing areas. For almost $100 per ticket, would not do it again. Pros: You can bring in backpacks with just about anything you want to bring, including beer. Cons: Poor viewing from GA and limited selection of beer on site.
