Hi,
The official Microsoft solution to an endless 'Preparing Automatic Repair' loop is to refresh or reset the PC directly.
"Upon the 'Preparing automatic repair' window, press-and-hold Power button three times to forcefully shut down the machine. The system will enter boot repair page after 2-3 times of reboot, choose Troubleshoot, then go on to Refresh PC or Reset PC."
If we want to use recovery media to repair and could not boot into BIOS, I consider that hold F10 + press release power button or ESC button may be useful.

Hi,
As you said, if we could not boot into BIOS to change boot order. It's difficult to repair with a media installation.
When we restart, could we boot into Safe Mode by pressing F8? If not, I'm afraid that we can only try to solve the problem of not entering the BIOS.
Firstly, I suggest that you contactManufacturer's support to ask how to enter BIOS.
Because the BIOS is controlled onmotherboard. So I consider that unplugBIOS battery or upgrade BIOS may be useful.
