Konica hexanon 57mm f1 4 review năm 2024

These two photos [IMHO] demonstrate the outstanding results from combining the new E-PL1 with the old Konica 57mm f1.4.

The two portraits are already in other galleries on the site - the first is of me the second isn't:-

Nice images. I'm bidding on one of these lenses now. Just what I need another Hexanon lens.

the crop isn't right, but then the original wasn't framed properly either ...

Here's a decaying power pole in broad daylight in unprocessed jpeg. Aperture is around 2.8-5.6 in the shots, ISO 100 and 200

Recently acquired the Hexanon 40mm f1.8 and 57mm f1.4. Been having a great time with them so far. This one is taken with a friend's Hexanon 57mm/f1.4. It convinced me to get my own copy. =]

Me too! I got the same two lenses. While I like the 40mm, it's the 57mm that really shines!

I'd missed this thread - some nice shots. I have this lens, but the aperture, once open all the way, sticks open and can only be stepped down by taking the lens off of the camera and moving the little lever by hand. Bottom line - I always use my Voightlander 50 f1.5 instead for the kind of low light candid portraits I like these lenses for. Anyone know a good fix for this problem? I'd sure like to put this lens on and actually USE it from time to time.

Ray-

I have this lens as well. If you are willing to DIY, the disassembly is not hard... at least you can see what the problem is.

There are several sites that show how to modify these lenses for use on 4/3 cameras. They show how to disassemble/reassemble. This should give some idea of what's involved. Nothing really tricky here: just some very small screws! One example: GFSNT

My guess is that the aperture tang has become bent.

Good luck.

Oh, and here's a recent flash photo taken with my 57mm:

Thanks Tom. It feels like the spring tension just isn't there, but I guess extra friction could make it seem that way. I'll see what I can do.
