Lỗi không nhận driver teac ud-h01 với windows 64 bit

I'm using MC19 connected to my Luxman R-115 receiver through my TEAC UD-501 DAC. When I play my DSD [DSF] files the UD-501 screen shows that it's playing a PCM 192 kHz file. When I play the same file through the TEAC software the screen shows it as a DSD file. When I set the bitstream to DSD in ''Tools-Options-Audio'' it shows a message telling me my hardware does not support it. How do I get the screen to show DSD or DSF when using MC19 and the TEAC?

TEAC support have refered me to you.

Thanks for your help.

N.B. In spite of this the sound is much better through MC19 than the TEAC software.

I'm not sure. You could switch between ASIO and WASAPI in Options > Audio.

You need a recent [preferably latest] version of MediaCenter and have the ASIO drivers installed from Teac [version 1.02 I believe]. Older versions will have problems, see the link 6233638 posted. You can check in Add/Remove software if its installed, and in device manager you can see if the device is working properly [it will have a yellow question mark if it isn't].

In MediaCenter, open Tools/Options, Audio [pick the zone to configure at the top] and for Audio Device, pick "TEAC ASIO USB DRIVER [ASIO]".

Check DSP & Output format. Under Output format you can configure Output Encoding. If this is set to None and bitstreaming is disabled, all DSD files will be decoded to PCM and resampled according to the sample rate rules below Output encoding. If you set it to DSD or DoP, all DSD files will be decoded to PCM, processed by MC and decoded back to DSD to match the output settings. If you want DSD files to be left untouched by MC, you need bitstreaming.

The "problem" with bitstreaming however is that MC won't do any processing, not even replaygain to level the volume between tracks. If you like the sound of DSD, IMHO its best to enable DSD or DoP in Output format and let MC decode DSD to process it for volume control and output everything to DSD, even PCM. MC's audio engine is 64-bit and the process to decode DSD is effectively lossless.

I've managed to solve the problem. Not sure if I did something different than previously but it worked. Changed the Bitstreaming from none to DSD and changed the Audio device to ''TEAC ASIO USB DRIVER [ASIO] and........bingo!...problem solved...now all my DSD files show up as such on the screen, including native DSD files including converted files [from PCM to DSD]. I've kept some of the CD's in both original formats and DSD converted formats to compare sound quality. I'm impressed, and so is my girlfriend, who usually doesn't care much for sound quality. Thank you all for your help! Much appreciated.

JRiver 19 displays the devices differently, where all the modes [ASIO, WASAPI, etc.] are listed in one drop-down list. On version 18, if you first select ASIO in the "Output mode" and then go into "Output mode setting" you will see "TEAC ASIO USB DRIVER" in the "Device" drop-down menu.

The driver I installed is version 102 from TEAC's download page: //www.teac.com/product/ud-501/downloads/

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Awesome. Will give it a try. I do like this DAC...a lot.

Cheers!

Excuse my ignorance but is ASIO a PC only driver? What do Mac users do if they have a DSD DAC and want to convert PCM to DSD on the fly?

You're right that ASIO is PC only.

On Mac, you'll select 'DSD in DoP format' in DSP Studio > Output Format to enable real-time DSD output.
