(2) After sub rule (1) of rule 8 of the said rules
as so re numbered insert the following as sub rule
( 2 ) —
(2) In obtaining payment of deposits made in
a Civil Court in favour of the Commis
sioners the pleader engaged by the Com
missioners or his duly authorised agent
shall apply to the Court in the prescribed
form for pavment order ‘by transfer’
On the issue of the payment order it
shall be presented to the treasury with
which the Civil Court banks, with a
chalan to be taken back as a receipt for
the payment order When the mum
Cl pall t y and the Civil Court lie in the
same district the payment shall be made
by the Treasury Officer by transfer to the
account of the Commissioners of the
municipality Otherwise the Treasury
Officer shall credit the amount to the
Post Office for remitting the same, less
money older commission to the Treasury
Officer of the district in which the Com
missioners have their account For the
purpose of such a remittance the apph
cation for the repayment of deposit shall
be accompanied by an ordinary money
order form duly filled in The Treasury
Officer shall send the form to the Post
Office with a certificate that the amount

credited to the Post Omce in the treasury

Commissioners or his authorised agent
shall on no account receive any payment
