Bài tập thực hành tiếng Anh lớp 6 được biên soạn dưới dạng vở bài tập, dựa theo sách giáo khoa Tiếng Anh 6 của Bộ Giáo Dục và Đào Tạo. Sách gồm các bài tập thực hành dựa theo từng đơn vị bài học (unit). Mỗi đơn vị bài học được chia thành từng phần (section) như sách giáo khoa, gồm bài tập thực hành về từ vựng, ngữ pháp và hội thoại. Sau phần bài tập của mỗi đơn vị bài học có một bài kiểm tra, và sau mỗi cụm bài có các bài tự kiểm tra (Test Yourselft) được soạn như bài kiểm tra một tiết để đánh giá kết quả học tập của học sinh.
