A huge thanks to Graco for providing the product featured in this post. As I mentioned previously, I am part of the Generation Graco panel this year. All opinions are my own.

When our son was born, we had one stroller, and it was a jogging stroller. We were gifted a Graco stroller when he was about 5 months old and when he was closer to a year, we bought an umbrella stroller for a trip we were taking. We do use our jogging stroller a lot (with him and with our baby girl) but the umbrella stroller may have gotten the most use because it folded so much smaller than anything we had. It’s no secret that I love to wear my baby, but there are times that I just need to keep her in her car seat, or she’d be more comfortable in a stroller.

On Tuesday, we made the trip from Asheville to Jacksonville, Florida. We brought along the Graco Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller because I can slide our car seat easily into it. Tuesday night was TERRIBLE for getting our girl to sleep, and we resorted to walking her around the neighborhood in the stroller. She doesn’t fall asleep as much when I wear her these days, so I was hoping the walk would help. She was asleep in roughly 40 minutes. (Oh, and I got a little bit of exercise.)

It was perfect. The stroller rides so smooth, and with the car seat in, she was able to watch me until she fell asleep. Or glare. She really wanted me to hold her and she was beyond exhausted.

I wasn’t sure if we really needed another umbrella stroller, but after using this one for a couple of weeks, I’m so glad we have it. It folds easily (you can fold it with one hand!) and it fits in the trunk of my car. It is bulkier than our other umbrella stroller, but this one accommodates our Graco Click Connect™ car seat. (The car seat did not come with the stroller, and I had it before our baby arrived in April.)

(This is what you push/pull to collapse the stroller.)

The stroller comes with a cup holder for parents – which is perfect! The basket underneath is so big and held all of our belongings when we visited the zoo one evening.

(It was a light show at the zoo – and someone was able to ride along comfortably.)

This stroller can hold children up to 50 pounds – so I can use it for my 8-month-old or my 5-year-old. And believe me, my 5-year-old sometimes prefers to be pushed in a stroller. Oh and check out the canopy. The problem with our other umbrella stroller is the canopy never shaded my son. The canopy was useless. This one comes out and down so much further!

If you are in the market for an easy to use (and easy to tote) stroller, the Graco Breaze is one you really should consider. I think it would make a great registry item too. I definitely see my family using this for several more years. (And I have two strollers I’ll be getting rid of since this one came into our lives.)

Not every parent wants (or is able!) to drop three or four hundred dollars on a lightweight stroller. Luckily for everyone, Graco is stepping up their game and offering great new products such as the Breaze stroller. Yes, it is the “breaze” with an “a” – we didn’t misspell it. 🙂 Normally, the old saying is “you get what you paid for”, right? Well, with the Breaze, you get so much more!

The Breaze stroller is one of the easiest umbrella strollers we’ve ever tried. No need for a foot, knee and a trick-thumb with this one, the Breaze folds with one-hand using a lever near the handlebar. Don’t believe us, watch our video review! It really is easy-peasy!

STROLLER SEAT

The Breaze seat is roomy and accommodates up to 50 lbs, measuring 14″ wide, with an 18″ seat back and a measurement of 26″ from seat to canopy. A padded, adjustable, 5-point harness keeps the baby safely in the seat and the adjustable calf rest keeps them comfy. The seat has a very deep recline (almost flat!) and I love that you can recline the seat with the one-handed mechanism.

STORAGE

There is a medium basket underneath the seat that can be tricky to access with the seat fully reclined but that is very standard in the world of umbrella strollers. A cup holder on the side of the handlebar is much appreciated for those of us parents who like to drink on the go. Coffee and water, that is!

CANOPY

The canopy is large for an umbrella stroller and sports a large, mesh peek-a-boo window. We do wish that the cover of the window stayed closed with a magnetic closure or at least Velcro for those parents who live in a lot of wind like Chicago.

HANDLES

The non-adjustable handles are 39″ from ground to handle which are tall but definitely not the tallest on the market. If you are a super tall parent, you definitely want to try this stroller out before committing to make sure they aren’t too short for you.

WHEELS

The Breaze rolls on 7″ hard rubber wheels in the back and 6″ hard rubber, swivel wheels in the front. The front wheels also have the ability to lock straight for “mommy terrain” but it’s important to note that like all umbrella strollers this one is best on smooth surfaces. The front wheel suspension does help with some of the bumps and the linked rear brake locks the stroller into place.

FOLD/UNFOLD

One of the best features of this stroller is the easy, one-handed fold. Like I said earlier, no need for a foot, knee and a trick-thumb with this one, the Breaze folds with one-hand using a button and lever near the handlebar. It folds down into an umbrella fold and locks automatically. The stroller weighs a little over 17 lbs which is a little heavier than other umbrella strollers but we welcome the extra weight because it gives it stability to hold an infant car seat.

TRAVEL SYSTEM

Speaking of infant car seats, the Breaze accepts the Graco Click Connect Infant Car Seats to turn it into a travel system. Plus, no need for any additional adapters because the adapters are built into the seat.

WRAP-UP

Overall, I think Graco did a fabulous job with the Breaze. The stroller retails for $169 and is available now. It has the roomy seat, big canopy, and big basket we expect but they put the icing on the cake with the easy fold and the travel system option.

What is the weight limit for Graco breaze?

Breaze accepts all Graco® Click Connect™ infant car seats, excluding TRUESHIELD side-impact protection infant car seats, and it holds a child from birth to 50 lbs.

Are Graco strollers durable?

Great system with great durability just wasn't impressed with the car seat and infant insert due to the thin padding and no head support for newborns and small infants. Fabulous stroller and car seat! I absolutely LOVE this stroller and car seat!
