How do I reactivate my Outlook 365?

You can restore a user account up to 30 days after its deletion date. A user can only be restored to the same or a higher plan and to the same GoDaddy account. Any aliases associated with the user account will also be restored.

Required: If your deleted account was on an Email Essentials Free Trial, you'll need to purchase an Email Essentials plan or greater before continuing.

  1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard (use your GoDaddy username and password).
  2. Select Add user.

  3. Choose the same domain as the email account that was deleted, and then select Continue.
  4. Make sure that the Create single email tab is selected.

  5. Enter the same Email address as the deleted account.
  6. Enter a First name and Last name (they don't need to be the same as the deleted account).
  7. For the Account type, choose the same or a higher plan type. You might see an error if you choose a lower plan than what the previous account used.
  8. Enter the following:
    • Share contacts and files with: You'll only see this if you have other domains available or multiple users to set up. If you shared contacts and files in the deleted account, they'll still work in the recovered account.
    • Administrator permissions: Your previous admin settings will be restored. For example, if the account was an admin, it'll be an admin account again.
    • Password: If this account is for you, or you want to create a password for the user, enter a password. This can be what was previously used or something different.
    • Send account info to: Any account info, like when it's done being set up, will be sent to the email address(es) used in the previous account.
  9. Select Create.

    Note: If you're asked to move your email, select No, Thanks. You might see this prompt if your domain is used with another email service.

  10. You'll be asked if you want to restore the account. Select Yes, restore, and then Ok.

Admins can reactivate a subscription when it expires, is disabled, or canceled, or if you canceled in the middle of a subscription term.

You can reactivate your subscription in the admin center if: the subscription expired, was disabled by Microsoft, or if you canceled it in the middle of a subscription term.

Before you begin

You must be a Global or Billing admin to reactivate a subscription. For more information, see About admin roles.

  1. On the Products tab, find the subscription that you want to reactivate. Select the three dots (more actions), then select Reactivate this subscription.
    If you don't see Reactivate this subscription, contact support.
  2. In the Reactivate this subscription pane, select a payment method from the drop-down list, or select Add payment method.
  3. Select Save.

What happens when Office 365 is deactivated?

"Product deactivated" This is typically done to allow you to sign in to another Office device (Microsoft 365 Family) or to free up an Office install (Microsoft 365 for business). Select Sign in and enter your Microsoft 365 account. This will activate Office.

Can I still use Office 365 after subscription expires?

Step 1: Expired Following the expiration of your subscription, you have thirty days where Office 365 is still available for use. Any installed applications can still be launched, and you can still access additional solutions as well. Microsoft won't remove any of your data from its servers.
