Reliable backup product, excellent support

so far I have no complaints or doubts

Pros

ease deployment fast and qualified support, meaning that issues were sorted out right away (in my case via dial in)

Cons

somewhat pricy very detailed log files, sometimes it may be hard to find the root cause

Reasons for Choosing Macrium Reflect

I had critical issue with easeus, which easeus support was not able to sort out for more than a month. So they left me in the dark, no root cause, hence I don’t rely on their backup any more, since I may end up with no valid backup.

Reasons for Switching to Macrium Reflect

Macrium is the best option to backup!! we recovered data many times with this excellent tool

Many times users delete their own files or folders, so we recover them easy with this tool, avoiding them to do all the work again. For IT is good to stay relaxed, because there are backups running always.

Pros

This tool is easy to use, the deployment is easy, also the schedules to create the backup, just need to take your time to do this once, after that is not going to be a weekly or daily tool to use. Good time to recover or get information from backups created. Also works for databases in SQL.

Cons

No cons with it, it works great, maybe to stay more secured with the access have a second step sign in

Reasons for Switching to Macrium Reflect

We look for a tool for computers, after using easeus and finish the trial version we found Macrium Reflect, and for their features and compatibility with servers, we decide for this one.

No support for free trial

If you offer a “Free Trial” to entice a potential buyer to purchase your product, it would be prudent to offer support if the potential buyer has a problem. It’s like a car dealer offering a test drive of a new car, but ignoring you if the car breaks down.

I will not be buying the software, and I’ll post negative reviews for a less than satisfactory experience.

Pros

It was easy to setup and set up an image backup

Cons

I couldn’t get restore to work. When I requested assistance they responded that there was no support for the free trial and directed me to their knowledge base. I couldn’t find a resolution to my problem there.

Only positive emotions! The system has never let me down and I have never had any compatibility issues with this software

Pros

Fast imaging with ease of use. It provides options for creating bootable rescue media (USB or DVD) that can be used to restore your system in case it becomes unbootable.

Cons

At the end of 2023, support for the free version of Macrium Reflect will end. It's a shame because it was one of the best solutions for home users!

Finally found the best backup

I have several computers in different locations (all mine) for which I want to have backups and images for bare metal recovery. I have found that selecting files to restore is super-simple. I like the way the product mounts the image as another drive and lets you find the files you want so easily.

Pros

It is easy to use, reliable and even the free option provides enormous benefit. After several other apps, this is the one that really works.

Is Macrium Reflect 7 safe?

Macrium Reflect is safe, and you can feel free to use it. It is not a computer virus and is a completely safe backup solution.

Is Macrium Reflect a good program?

Macrium Reflect is one of the best partition backup applications available in the market. It can also clone drives in addition to making images of partitions and has a very useful feature of creating a bootable recovery drive for restoring partition(s) in case the OS is not booting.

What are the limitations of Macrium Reflect free edition?

The free version can perform full and differential backups but not incremental backups, as do the paid versions. Macrium Reflect Free is limited to imaging or cloning disks and partitions (no file backup or other choices).

Which is better Acronis or Macrium?

Acronis Cyber Backup has 207 reviews and a rating of 4.46 / 5 stars vs Macrium Reflect which has 59 reviews and a rating of 4.81 / 5 stars.
