I had a complete obsession with wearing red all last fall, so I’m personally happy to see this trend make its way to the limelight 🤣. I know the idea of wearing a color, yet alone red, seems like an immediate “NO” for some people. However, you can incorporate this trend in a less intimidating way. Its versatility makes for the perfect transition piece into fall, and you can easily dress it up with pumps, or down with combat boots. Circle skirts are also the perfect piece to compliment any body shape! This is certainly another trend that I’m a fan of because yellow is just one of those colors that look great on brown, melanated skin tones. Instead of styling an outfit with your typical whites and variations of creams as a base, butter yellow can serve as a trendy alternate this season to provide a much needed, yet subtle pop of color. This 2000s, millennial look is pushing to the forefront of fashion trends in a very unique and innovative way. But they’re not the frumpy, ill-fitting peplums that you might be used to seeing. Although the base silhouette remains the same (a snatched waist with sides that accentuate and are sometimes accompanied by a frill or two), designers are rolling out peplums with structure and interesting corset details for a very chic look. Leather trench coats and jackets are an easy way to add color to your outfit. Color blocking leather pieces can be a fun and stylish way to play into this trend! “Pro tip: opt for sleek and ladylike silhouettes for added contrast and interest.
