I. Các dạng so sánh bằng trong tiếng Anh

1. Dạng khẳng định của so sánh bằng

1.1. Đối với danh từ

Công thức:

S + V + as + many/much/little/few + noun + as + noun/pronoun

Khi sử dụng so sánh bằng với danh từ, cần xác định danh từ đó là danh từ đếm được hay không đếm được. Nếu là danh từ đếm được, ta dùng: many và few; danh từ không đếm được, ta dùng: much và little.

Ví dụ:

• Tuan earns as much money as his wife.
• No one scores as many points as Luan.

Ngoài ra, chúng ta còn sử dụng cấu trúc: the same…as khi so sánh bằng với danh từ:

Công thức:

S + V + the same + [N] + as + N [Pronouns]

1.2. Đối với tính từ/ trạng từ

Công thức:

S + V + as + adj/adv + as + N/Pronoun/Clause

Ví dụ:

• He is as tall as I [am]. [He is as tall as me – câu này dùng “me” là sai].
• I drive as carefully as my sister.

2. Dạng Phủ Định Của So Sánh Bằng [So Sánh Không Bằng]

2.1. Đối với danh từ

Công thức:

… not + as/so + many/much/little/few + noun + as + …… not + the same + [N] + as…

Ví dụ:

• Andrew is not the same age as Lily.
• My opinion isn’t the same as yours.

2.2. Đối với tính từ/ trạng từ

Công thức:

… not + as/so + adj/adv + as …

Chú ý: Ở dạng phủ định, ta có thể dùng so thay cho từ as ở vị trí đầu tiên.

Ví dụ:

• He is not as tall as I [am].
• I do not drive so carefully as my sister.

1. Trạng từ trong câu so sánh

Trạng từ ngắn [Short adverbs]

• Là trạng từ có một âm tiết, không tận cùng bằng -ly, các hình thứ so sánh giống hệt như tính từ: thêm -er để so sánh hơn và thêm -est để so sánh nhất.

Ví dụ: hard, fast, near, far, right, wrong, …

Trạng từ dài [Long adverbs]

• Là trạng từ có 2 âm tiết trở lên, kết thúc bằng -ly, phả sử dụng more để tạo thành hình thức so sánh hơn nhất.

Ví dụ: quickly, interestingly, tiredly, …

SO SÁNH HƠN VỚI TRẠNG TỪ

A. LÝ THUYẾT

Giống như tính từ, trạng từ cũng được chia thành hai loại

-.Trạng từ ngắn là những trạng từ có 1 âm tiết.

Ví dụ: hard, near, far, right, wrong…………

-Trạng từ dài là những từ có từ 2 âm tiết trở lên.

Ví dụ: slowly, responsibly, quickly, interestingly, tiredly……

1.Cấu trúc câu so sánh hơn với trạng từ:

Đối với trạng từ ngắn	Đối với trạng từ dài
S1 +V +adv +er +than+ S2	S1 +V +more / less +adv +than+ S2
Với các trạng từ ngắn, thường là trạng từ chỉ cách thức có hình thức giống tính từ, ta thêm “er” vào sau trạng từ	-Với trạng từ dài, hầu hết là các trạng từ chỉ cách thức có đuôi “ly” ta thêm “mỏe”[nhiều hơn] hoặc “less”[ít hơn] vào các trước trang từ -“Less” là từ phản nghĩa của “more” ,được dùng để diễn đạt sự không bằng nhau ở mức độ ít hơn.
Ví dụ: They work harder than I do. She runs faster than he does My mother gets up earlier than me. I go to school later than my friends do	Ví dụ: My friend did the test more carefuly than I did. My father talks more slowly than my mother does. Hanh acts less resposibly than anyone

2.Một vài trạng từ có dạng từ đặc biệt:
