hard, thin blade, vertical orientation, made with high quality, the blade itself is not big, the thin handle is not suitable for everyone, weight 86g, I dont think its worth doing the winding, the feeling is not the same. I need to get used to the short game after the Stiga OCC (soft blade with carbon, oriented towards playing in the near zone), but playing in the middle and far zone at high speeds, I dont lose control, I want to rotate this blade from both sides, confidence in top spins with the right when hitting the ball, I tried a few blades (malin carbon, xiom ignito and OCC) they say its not a fast blade, I would say this, if you give force to the blow, then this blade is Off +. I liked it, it fully met my expectations) for setting up technique and training in general, I think you need something softer.

I'm relatively new to table tennis, training 3-4 times a week for 3 years. I initially used the Victas FireFall LC with Rakza 7 soft MAX and Rakza 9 MAX rubbers. This racket was fast but too stiff for my style, limiting my technique. I struggled with spins and short pushes.

I switched to the DHS Hurricane 301, recommended by my coach. Initially, it felt slow, but with practice, I understood its ALC layers' dynamics. It allowed versatile play, confusing opponents. The outer wood layer is koto which is harder than usual that's why when the ball is hit with less power, the ball doesn't reach the inner layer of carbon and doesn't activate it, and also doesn't reach the core layer. That's why the ball is slow. So if you want to see OFF++ hit it hard with a relaxed hand! You will activate the ALC! If you can't achieve the desired speed, it's because your shot execution needs improvement. This blade rewards correct technique with high-speed, long-distance shots.

After a month, I realized I could use harder rubbers without losing control. My setup became Rakza X Max on the forehand and Rakza 9 Max on the backhand. This encouraged better technique and punished weak plays.

The DHS H301 excels in topspins, drives, short pushes, and even smashes. Lobs and blocks took time to master. It improved my serves, allowing better spin control. Underspins weren't a focus, but it handled chops well.

After 3-4 months, I'm pleased with my setup. It enhances every aspect of my game, especially when I execute correctly. The speed, spin, and control are fantastic. The sound of the carbon layer is addictive. I've yet to unlock its full potential, but I'm sticking with it to maximize my skills. It takes time to get used to the handle.

Sand the blade with fine sandpaper, including the edges, to ensure no wood splinters. Apply a thin layer of lacquer, except on the handle. This maintains the blade, making it durable and water-resistant.

Overall, it's a game-changer, rewarding precise play.

Well balanced. Far better feel than my comparatively numb/dead innerforce ALC. Perhaps a tad slow for folks comfortable with composite blade+fastest tensors, but plenty of pace for a solid intermediate like me.

With H3 39 (FH) and Tinarc 5 this blade offers ideal balance and wide range of gears. I can exert effort on my shots and be confident that even my heaviest loops and most powerful drives will land.

Incredible value. I think I've finally broken my butterfly obsession (my butterfly sponsored coach will be sad that he's no longer my EJ dealer LOL).

Lastly, my experience is that the craftsmanship on this blade is superior to the PG5X I ordered and every bit on par of my composite butterfly blades. A killer setup with the rubbers I mentioned for $135. That won't even pay for a TB Spirit these days

Facts: weight 90 g., big flared handle. First impressions: the upper half of the grip protruds too far into the blade for me, so I have blisters on my middle finger after playing. - I will continue soon, after playing !!! ... only when it hurts. ;-P

After a few months of trial and error.. I realised your personal technique has to be adjusted to fully utilise this blade. The flex and structure of this blade brings more confidence to short play. If you have strong forehand using Chinese rubbers this blade is for you. Timing is the adjustment needed when switching from a more harder stiffer composition. Brings me confidence when transitioning between FH & BH. Its quite unique at first. Needs time. Worth the price I believe. Must seal before gluing. Best to not continually switch rubbers on the blade due to splintering. Seal is key.

This is one of the best blades I have ever played. So much so that I have needed to rebuy the blade after having sold it because I thought it would have become too fast for me because of a lack of practice during lockdown. If you find one below 85-86g, you are a very lucky person. The combination of power and control is absolutely insane. When I was first playing with it, I was so surprised about how short you can make the ball bounce off in blocks and how much power you can add in a topspin and still hit the edge of the table. It just feels right. I have either used it with Xiom Omega VII Euro or Tibhar Evolution FX-S on the forehand and Tenergy 05FX on the backhand, which was like a dream. Definitely recommended. If you don't care about the weight so much, I would also recommend ordering from China, as the prices are lower there. Also, like BMX2, I highly recommend sealing the blade before glueing.

Mine came in 87 g. I also have Yinhe V14 Pro 92g (which is supposed to be identical to TB ALC) with Vega Pro (FH) and Yasaka Rakza 7 (BH) so there will be a little comparison between the two. I get better results with H301 because I have a lot more control over placement even though I have faster rubbers in max (Tenergy 05 FH and Tibhar MX-P BH). Overall setup is 30% slower but this is purely because of the blade differences. But I must say that I like playing with Yinhe V14 pro because it's faster and it brings more pleasure when I land a dangerous, spinny shot on the table that I'm not able to produce with H301. So it's harder to land a shot like topsin, but when it does, it's deadly. When it comes to H301 I would say it's the most controllable blade I've ever played with (I have played with Yinhe V14 Pro, TB ALC, Stuor Hurricane Long 5, Butterfly Innerforce ZLC, Yinhe W6 and Yinhe 980 - to me that blade had the least control of all, probably because of high flex). I can't say it's a slow blade but not super fast as V14. I would say it's OFF to OFF- while V14 is OFF+. H301 is very controllable when you need it e.g. in short game with pushes over the table but it can still pack a punch when you're far away from the table you just have to swing harder to active the ALC that is next to the core. I like pushing with H301 WAY more than with Yinhe V14 because the ball doesn't fly away off the table in any direction like a rocket. I like block with V14 just a tiny bit more. Loops are good with both blades, but with V14 I have to close racket's angle way more because of higher throw of that blade. Flat hits are better with V14. I had to seal H301. V14's handle way better because it's thicker (better for long fingers). H301's handle is pretty thin, hence head-heavy balance blade, which I don't really like but it can be solved with extra grip. Overall, I'm very satisfied with both blades, worth every penny.

As someone who loves all wood blades with great feeling this is my favorite composite blade and current main blade. Its an InnerForce style ALC blade with Koto outer layers and a flexible Ayous core. Its an extremely well balanced blade that can do it all. Flexible enough for a great looping game while stiff enough for good blocking and hitting. As others have noted, it has many gears, the power you put into it is what you get out. Its control is outstanding considering its mid to low Off speed.

I actually prefer this blade to its more expensive brother the ML5. The ML5 is faster and more flexible with Limba outer layers. While the ML5 is faster the 301 is crisper and more balanced with the koto layers and provides a better all around balanced experience. I also prefer this blade to any of the Butterfly ALC or ZLC blades. Its short game is great but still offers the power to step back and have an effective mid range game.

Considering this blades price it becomes a no brained to me. This blade has entered legendary status for its performance to price ratio. Just be sure to seal the outer layers to prevent damage when changing rubbers. A gem!

I have been using it for the last 2 weeks with hurricane Neo Rubbers, it feels quite slow. And the biggest problems its the feeling, I almost cant feel the touch of the Ball. Is it due to the blade or the rubbers? Whats booster would be good to apply here?

The FL handle is thin but Enough for my hand small. I have heard that it tends to splinter but in my case I bought it in tabletennis11.com and took the lacquering service, I have changed about 10 times of rubbers and I have not had problems There is nothing you can not do with this blade, it is not the classic off+, It is more an Off or off-, the Alc being on the side of the core is only activated in strong blows, so you are always in control. I tried a Viscaria, in addition to having played with the, stiga carbonada, yasaka ma lin soft Carbon and the MAX 3D Carbon, butterfly keny pro y la Kreanga Aeros off++, And I can actually say that the H301 is second to none. It has everything I need.

Uso esta madeira com uma xiom mega V sia no fore hand e uma xiom sigma II Pro no Backhand ambas 2.2 (Max). Usei as mesmas borrachas na Ma Lin carbon e senti que produz menos rotao, porm a H 301 mais rpida (notavelmente). Gostei da combinao, se encaixou no meu estilo agressivo. Dentro da mesa ainda senti uma dificuldade de colocar as bolas pois como disse ela coloca menos rotao e portanto a bola vai mais longe. Tem uma boa sensao ao toque e isso extremamente importante na minha opinio.

Great blade! Was looking for more gears than on offer with my Goiabao 5 (which is a very nice blade) and have found them! Great dwell time for loops and very crisp on drives, whilst also giving good control in the short game. I went back to using Battle 2 on FH after finding Rakza Z a little wild and am more than happy with the combo.

Wow what a blade. Cause of the reviews I did have some high expectations. This blade feels crisp, it gives you power when you need it and blocking is a dream, altough for good driving you need some good consistency, it really gives you and edge during the rally in open play. Im used to play with soft rubbers and I dont think its the best combination with this blade. Im used to spin with a high arch and lots of dwell time, I think I need some hours to get used this blade. It surely generates a lot of spin, due to the lower arch it feels very different to me in comparison with an 5 ply all wood where I play normally with. 3rd ball for me is crucial, this blade didnt give me the feel that I can attack 3rd ball with confidence, surely this has to do with me not be used playing with composite blades.

Flexy linear blade. Really nice for penhold players who like to loop both sides. Good amount of vibration so if you're transitioning from all wood this will feel really nice. Used it with Commericial H3 Neo 41 2.15MM boosted w/ Haifu Seamoon on the forehand and Goldarc 8 47.5 MAX on the RPB.

Prior to this I was using the Galaxy W6 and I wanted something faster for the 40+ ball with good vibration and flexy feeling for that sweet sweet dwell time. This one checks all the boxes.

Also for PH players, the head is the elongated modern RPB head which you'll appreciate.

This blade has so many gears! Touch shots are a breeze to play. Once you move away from the table, it has a huge power reserve to loop. My blade has a fish-scale koto surface and weighs 91g. It is a bit on the heavy side because it is head heavy with a thin handle. Backhand play is not as crisp and snappy as Viscaria, but it really shines with its forehand looping. The throw is on the low side so pair it with a higher throw rubber depending on your style. I tried GoldArc 8 (47.5 and 50 degrees), Hurricane 3 Neo, Tenergy 05, Battle II, and a few others on this blade. GoldArc 8 matches it well as this combination is quite popular among other members too.

What a blade, this is equivalent to quite a few expensive butterfly blades in the market. This blade suits hard rubbers really well. It is a must have. I have played with gold Arc 8 on both sides. Now I am playing with super ventus on both sides. Very good blade.

UPDATE Jan 2020:Bought one more H301 blade. After playing with it, I dont see the new blade any different from my existing blade, even with new set of rubbers. Thisexplains how consistent this blade is. DHS has definitely hit the mark with this one, just love it ! UPDATE 11/12/2018: It has been over 8 months so far that I've been playing with H301 and would like to stick with this setup forever. Recently I've switched to Darker speed 90, single ply hinoki. But it did not suit my style and also FH looping was much difficult with it. So went backt o H301 and back to form right away. I really don't see a reason now to switch or change blade/rubber to improve my technique. More than satisfied. Best blade that Ive played with so far.

I had T11+, stiga classic carbon, tibhar SPW, and training blades N9, stiga carbo7. Stiga classic carbon combined with rasant powergrip had too much power , less control. T11+ combined with h2neo, f3snipe was fast, but with no dwell time what so ever(cant feel the ball). Tibhar powergrip with mark5 1.7mm on both sides had good control but was way too slow(demands proper forehand topspin).

None of them came closer to H301 in terms of looping consistency and blocking. I am currently playing with Palio ak47 blue on fh, focus3snipe on bh. While Im more of a backhand attack player, I have runners knee and due to this condition, I couldnt play fh topspin properly until I had H301. I have compared this blade with butterfly Timoboll spirit(my colleagues blade with tenergys both sides)) and plays alike, besides offering more control due to the ALCs placed next to the core. When ever I am brushing the ball, the trajectory appears as if I have performed a hard stroke and the opponent struggles in returning them. Bh pushes places the ball where I want it. I dont have a reason to buy european tensor rubbers anymore, thanks to this blade.

This is an outstanding blade, particularly for the price. I have three h301s, and the quality and play is very consistent for all three. As a former 2200 double wing looper with over 40 years of experience, I have a good deal of background for equipment comparisons.

The h301 is an offensive++ blade. It is a step slower than the DHS Hurricane Long 5 (offensive +++), with somewhat better control. Due to the blade construction, the blade has many gears, which you can access depending on the power of your strokes. Touch shots, blocks, pushes, serves all have excellent control, while power shots are fast and powerful. Loops are spinny and/or fast as you prefer with excellent placement, blocks are consistent and controlled, and kills are fast to target. I use DHS national hurricane 3 blue sponge (max, boosted) and Andro rasanter r50 (max, boosted). These are fast rubbers, but I still have great control with the h301. Serve return is good, but has to be controlled as with any fast blade. Counter-loops at the table and mid-range can be accomplished with the correct technique. If the blade has a drawback, it does not seem to play quite as well away from the table beyond the mid-range.

I also have h301 racquets made up with Nittaku Moristo SP (Mima Itos backhand, short pips, 2.0 mm) and Galaxy Qing (long pips, 0.7 mm) on the backhand, with h3nblue on FH. I occasionally play with pips so that the guys at the club can gain experience against a pips opponent. The pips hit crisply with the h301, better than other blades I have tried. I will leave individual reviews with these rubbers. At the price of the h301, you can afford to have multiple matched racquets for backup and to try out alternative rubbers while leaving you main racquet intact.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this blade, particularly for the developing player who doesnt want to spend $200+ on a quality blade. At this price, the question is not whether to get an h301 but how many to order.

I have tried many blades from different manufacturers, but this one won my heart. It does everything you want very well. Short strokes play with high feeling and precision. Loops and drives like a beast when alc is activated. Very good for 1st and 2nd position from the table, but far from the table a little bit less, then you need to hit harder. Paired it with different Chinese and Euro/Japanese rubbers and every rubber works well with this blade. With GoldArc8/Hurricane 8 high speed/control and Ten05/Yasaka very spinny. Sealing the surface is advised to protect the koto layer from splintering

Best value deal for your money, this blade from DHS will make you double happy!

Couldn't resist the high review so bought one to try it. Weighs 85.6g @ 5.84mm thick. Has a thin FL handle with wide wings. Quality is average+ and comes with a nice magnetic self closing box. The control and feel is quite good with the crispy feel from the ALC carbon. Initial speed is slow due to the innerforce design (carbon is at the 3rd layer), on full smashing speed is OK but not killer fast as some reviewer states. The overall speed is definitely slower than my Yasaka Extra Offensive 7 Power and the spin is much inferior too. I could accept the slower speed but the spin potential is not to my standard. It's a very ordinary beginner's blade with nothing special about it. Not a keeper and definitely did not live up the the hipe. I like my Yasaka Extra Offensive 7 Power and Ma Lin Max Power much better and for less money too.

I am a defender that relies on short pips with no sponge (extremely slow usually) and I'm using this bat to become more offensive. Using this bat with no sponge the power comes from the blade not the rubber, meaning I can keep my preferred no sponge rubber (Dr Evil) and still have a quick attack if I hit hard. It feels great to attack with too, it just seems so much easier with this bat than others I've tried.

Make no mistake it is not ideal for chopping compared to a defenders blade, I'd feel much more comfortable chopping with Donic Defplay Senso, but for an offensive blade it's very good for chopping and gives me what I need in attack. Because of the many gears of the blade and the dwell time, you can chop slowly and with a lot of spin and control. Wouldn't recommend for a defensive defender who hardly hits, but for a modern defender or all rounder it's the best I've found.

I need a carbon blade because my all wood blade is controllable but less power. I have been using this with MX-S on both sides. Great for looping and smashing. You need to seal it because mine had a wood splinter when I removed a rubber. Good price for a good blade.

tried it with Xiom Vega Pro and Vega Def 2,0mm on Fh and PimplePark Cluster OX on BH side. Amazing direct feeling and very good control. The speed variation is great, if you go for power shots it's definitely an off to off+ blade, on blocks and chops with pips it slows down to maybe an all+ blades speed. Spin is on a high level. Compared with Viscaria, Xiom Vega Pro, TB ALC, Stiga Carbonado and many other blades it definitely is my personal favorite blade so far. It can hit as fast as Viscaria and Timo Boll ALC while maintaining the control of Xiom Vega Pro blade and spin potential of the Carbonado blade. And all of that for a way lower price! Think my journey of searching for the perfect blade for my style has an end. Craftsmanship is good, edges need some sanding and i'd advise to seal the blade, as every other blade too. I really like the design of the H301 too. My blade is 82g and i think it was 158x151mm head size. Might loose some control and gain speed if u get a heavy blade, but still believe it will be very controllable too. At professional level of play players might want some blades with more speed and a little less flex, but for average it's great for stepping up form all+ blades without loosing control.

A great blade for the middle level. control rate high. comfortable to play. The spin is very easy, because the blade is a bit flexible. Smashing is also easy, because the upper part is hard and carbon. H301 is more flexible, softer and faster than Ma lin YEO. but Ma lin YEO smash more comfortable. I've used fang bo carbon before. Playing with Fang bo carbon is a little difficult. The H301 is very comfortable, I would recommend to anyone. UPDATE; this blade lacks power in serious games. I think it's more flexible and soft. not like carbon blades. maybe it takes a long time to get used to. I'm confused about this blade. maybe I can be above the middle level.SECOND UPDATE: I started to love this blade after an intense training session. There are many advantages. Spin excellent, short play wonderful, top feeling very good, middle distance comfortable to play. You need to practice for the smash.

Try it about 2 weeks, ill say that this is good blade, i think, i get good batch, smooth finish,but you must seal the blade, suitable for close n medium distance loop, active block very well, best with medium hard to hard rubber, nice sound when hit hard and activated the carbon, result with good trajectory loop, spinny and fast ball can easy to produce, highly recomended

Best blade on planet Earth. Put Chinese tensors on it. I say F'k butterfly blades. This blade is simply amazzziiiiiiing. Drop it short or hit it long hard. Gear changes. Don't forget to put thin quote of lacquer on it.

Play TT like a king. Use DHS 301 !!!!!! There is no identical blade like it.

Once again F'k butterfly, xiom,donic,stiga.

Good blade. What I want to play with. But a small sliver of wood have entered into my hand after a stronge looping :) ***Update: After 1 month, I found it has fairly small sweet spot. It is not consistent in every shoot. I sell it for a half price and I switch to Stiga Clipper CR.

One of the best blade I have. I use Yasaka MaLin EO Cpen + Yasaka Mark V, Donic Burn Off Cpen + Palio AK47 Yellow, DHS H301 Cpen + Palio AK47 Red, Tibhar SPW FL + 729 RITC Tack Speed Jap Sponge both FH & BH, and still 2 blades to go for setup (XVT ZL Koto FL & Huieson Arylate Carbon Cpen, and spare rubbers Palio AK47 Blue & Stiga Power LT). I am not a pro or advance player, just love to play pingpong and exploring the play with several blades & rubbers. When the first time I tried DHS H301 with the fastest AK47 Red, I was amazed by the power and the control of this blade. It can go fast, very fast, but at the same time it can go slow. I still can play slow & short rallies in front the net. I can feel the flexiness of the blade, not like Donic Burn Off. What a blade! I mention this because at first I thought this setup will make it lost a bit of control. This blade has a great value since the price to performance ratio is high, well... At least to me ;) Why pay more if we can get such a great blade for less? Go for DHS H301 if you look for a great performance & value blade. I can assure you won't regret it!

Warning: I just changed rubbers on my H301, and there's slight splintering. I suggest first time users to seal or at least smooth the blade surface with 2000 grit sandpaper before applying glue. I've been using DHS PG5 for the past few months. H301 is very similar to PG5. Both are looping blades and both have arylate carbon layers next to the core ply. H301 is thinner, flexier, and faster than PG5. H301 has a low throw angle, but it's very dependent on the rubbers used. My experience with tacky Chinese rubber on H301 is that you can easily product high arcing shots, as well as low flat loops. It all depends on your stroke. H301's flexibility allows for great dwell time, while it's hardness allows for effective blocking. This blade also has many gears. It can be very slow on soft shots; but when you put in more power, the shots become very fast and spinny. I can easily recommend this blade to any players who have primarily looping games.

14-03-2018-Its a 5 layer blade-top layer=koto,2 layers ALC.Using it with Rakza 7 Soft(RED,BH),Xiom Vega Europe (Black,FH).It's a pretty thin blade(90 gram is what I asked and got).Looks beautiful.While gluing...the wood drank a lot of glue...needed 2 coats.Great loops,high+long arc....always lands on the end of the table,very controllable.Great sound and nice feel despite carbon ALC.Handle slips a bit as I sweat a lot,bit no big deal-I use anti sweat powder.Magical thing is ,touch play is immaculate,but if you hit,then whole blade comes alive and boom...Great from Mid distance too.Slower than TB ALC and Andro Trieber Z,but I have enough power to kill...don't need more really.What this means is -great for looping as I can hit faster,loop better,add more spin without the fear of ball going too long/out of table.Like someone above said:-''Contact is always crisp feeling ''.This blade I felt much more confident in looping on heavy backspin.....maybe its Vega Europe...but I feel blade does contribute a lot to that.Blocking is good too.Counter topspin hitting is amazing.I was able to do some great BH flick today....enjoyed the blade immensely.I am an EJ.....love to try various blades/rubbers...this one is a special addition to my collection.Update(12-05-2018)-on changing rubber...it splinters a lot...so sealing is recommended.

Really appreciate slightly bigger head (158x150). Not so hard ALC feel as TB ALC for example, probably because of its composion (ALC closer to the core). You can feel wood much more in this one. Well balanced blade but I prefer to play H301 with ESN rubbers.

Note:When I tested this blade I was using H3P blue sponge in 39 degrees and 2.2 mm thick on forehand and Rozena in 1.9mm thickness on backhand. Also I am a Cpen player. And finally, I do not have the weight of my blade sorry.

So, after 1-2 hours of testing, I found this as an truly amazing blade. First of all, this is a very affordable blade and great for its price. Secondly,there was no difficulties at all switching from an all wood blade to this. That is because of its structure, It has the same construction as a Long5 blade except for the fact that the ALC layer is thinner and the top ply is koto instead of limba. So on soft shots it has the great feeling of a wood blade with a little less dwell time and on medium/hard shots, has the crisp feeling of Carbon. None of my shots went out of the table because of this switch. The sweetspot by the way, is pretty big kind of like the carbonado 190 but overall a little smaller.

This blade is stiff but not so much like other ALC blades. when doing topspins it felt like an all wood but faster. On topspin against backspin, it was really smooth and I had no difficulties doing it. When flicking, because you do not use as much power as your other shots, you are basically only flicking with the two outer wood layers and that actually helps a lot, because it gives more dwell time. Blocking was great and counter hitting is the best part. Because of the sheer speed of your blade combined with the power from your opponent, the return is very fast and still has quite some spin in it. On hard shots, you can feel the vibrations pass through just like a wood blade. It offers a lot of control along with spin and speed. This blade also has many gears unlike some other composite blades when the ball just shoots out immediately.

The only bad part about it is when I opened the package the bade had a slight crack on the side. It doesn't affect the performance but just looks bad. Overall still a good blade.

Best blade for the price. Better than much pricier blades. Carbon next to the core and not outside. Hard koto wood on the outside. Beautiful grey finish. Incredible control and speed is consistent with every shot.

Also I bang the blade a lot on the table so better I can order 3 super blades like this and have a backup than to buy an expensive $150 blade and bang it

Itt's not super fast there are faster but it is very good feeling

My blade is 89g thickness 5.7mm fl handle. Miracle blade for the money you pay. Plays every bit like hl3 with wood feel on every stroke, huge sweet spot again. So it makes me wonder why the hell I spend extra money on the other ones from the same brand. A super blade from dhs. It's fast I would say off to maybe off+ . But all the shot lands on the table regardless of speed as long as you play offensive spin game. No gimmick try and find out your self and tell me.

This blade is a slightly thinner version of the Hurricane Long 5 with two harder outer plies. It is slower than the Hurricane Long 5, however this blade has a longer dwell time, better control and crispier feeling. For less than one thirdof the price of a HL5, it is value for money.
