So sánh giữa maybelline fit me và loreal true match

If you follow me on Instagram (@mrinalinism) then you might know that I had promised a battle of the foundations, so here we are. I recently purchased the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in the shades 230 Natural Buff and 322 Warm Honey and like any other beauty lover I have loads to say about how this foundation compares with the ruling drugstore favorites, the Loreal Paris True Match Foundation and the Loreal Paris Infallible 24H Foundation. I have previously reviewed my holy grail foundation, the Loreal Paris Infallible in the shade 250 Radiant Sand over here so do check out that post for a more detailed review of the same.

Now, here are my thoughts on the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation and its comparison with the products from Loreal:

Shade Match In Maybelline Fit Me and Loreal Foundations for NC35 Medium Skin Tone

The shade range of the Fit Me Foundations seems to run a little darker than I expected. The color 322 Warm Honey is clearly very dark for me while 230 Natural Buff seems to be the closest match for my skin tone. Both these shades have a peachy brown undertone, which might look a bit dull and muddy on the face. The shade 250 Radiant Sand of the Infallible range is the perfect match for my skin tone and has a yellow undertone. As for the True Match range, N4 Beige seems to be the nearest match to my complexion but it somehow appears pinkish in the beginning but seems to oxidize with time and ends up matching my skin tone. So the Infallible foundation is clearly the winner of this category.

Coverage of Maybelline and Loreal Foundations

I feel that the True Match and Fit Me foundations have similar coverage. They provide a medium coverage that can be built to a full coverage by adding a second layer of the product. The Infallible on the other hand has a full coverage in one coat and you do not need a concealer unless you have some really huge blemishes. Again, if full coverage is your need then you must stick with Loreal Infallible.

Finish of Maybelline and Loreal Foundations

The Fit Me Matte+Poreless foundations have a comfortable matte finish. They are highly suitable for oily skin as they do not add any shine to the face. However, the lack of a glow might seem a little flat. Somehow, they seem to moisturize the skin despite being matte foundations and they are so easy to wear that I often forget that I have foundation on! The True Match Foundations are also moisturizing but they have a more glowy finish that is suitable for dry skin. The Infallible foundations are extremely matte but have a brightening effect on my face due to the yellow undertones. However, they tend to get a little uncomfortable to wear after a few hours.

Longevity – The Fit Me and True Match foundations have a comparable longevity of about 4-6 hours on my skin. The Infallible foundation, on the other hand, can last up to 8-10 hours in a similar environment.

SPF – The True Match foundation has an SPF 17 while the Infallible Foundation has an SPF 18. The packaging of the Fit Me foundation does not mention an SPF, so I am not sure if this one contains any SPF or not.

Packaging

Both the Loreal foundations come with a pump while the Fit Me foundation does not have one. The lack of a pump makes it hard to use and difficult to travel with.

Price

The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is priced at INR 525 only while equal volumes of the True Match and the Infallible foundations are priced at INR 1025 and INR 1400 respectively. With such a huge difference in price, I can definitely live without a pump!

Final Verdict

For oily skinned people like me the Infallible foundation is the best bet for long-lasting full coverage while the Fit Me foundation offers value for money and is great for daily wear. The True Match foundation is more suited for those with dry to combination skin types.

Đồng thời với thiết kế này, kem nền sẽ được bảo quản tốt hơn, không bị nhiễm khuẩn, không gây mất vệ sinh trong quá trình sử dụng kem nền. Như tên gọi “True Match” mà hãng đặt ra, kem nền L’Oreal True Match có đến 10 tông màu khác nhau để mọi người có thể dễ dàng lựa chọn màu tệp với da mình nhất. Kem nền L’Oreal True Match được chia thành 3 loại phù hợp với các tông da khác nhau: F (Fair) – dành cho các bạn có da trắng – trung bình trắng trở lên, G (Gold) – dành cho người có nền da vàng, đây là nền da thường thấy nhất ở người châu châu Á và N (Neutral) – dành cho người có nền da trung tính, màu da trung bình tới da ngăm. Kem nền L’Oreal True Match có chất kem lỏng, với chất kem lỏng như vậy sẽ dễ dàng tệp vào da hơn, không bị bệt trong lúc tán kem. Cảm giác sau khi tán kem nền rất thoải mái, không hề gây bí da mà còn có cảm giác mát mát, làn da căng mọng kể cả khi không sử dụng kem lót. Được hãng nói rằng kem nền có dạng Semi – Matte ( bán lì ), kem nền vẫn lì trên da nhưng lại bóng nhẹ, tạo cảm giác khỏe khoắn cho làn da. Kem nền có khả năng che phủ tương đối tốt, tuy nhiên đối với làn da nhiều khuyết điểm thì nên sử dụng nhiều lớp kem nền hoặc dùng thêm kem che khuyết điểm.
