Firstly, this isn't our product, it's Enterbrain's. Secondly, you downloaded a 'sample' game? By this, do you mean either the trial version of RMXP, or a game somebody has made? If it's one that somebody has made, it's by no fault of the software, but the person who has made it; they forgot to stick the RGSS102E.dll file in with the game when they compiled the gamedisc to be shared to the general public.

I had a few old projects from before XP was available on steam. Awhile back during humble bundle i decided to grab a copy of xp with it. The steam version comes up with this error when i try to play test the game. Does it not see the RTP or something and i have to download that seperate for this?

Nevermind, apparently you gotta select the RTP in the program, even though it already said "standard'. I just re-selected standard and clicked ok and it ran. Weird.
