Do you need a top coat on Rustoleum spray paint?

As with other surfaces, you may want to consider beginning with a coat of spray primer and finishing with a clear top coat for even greater protection.

Can you clear coat rustoleum metallic spray paint?

Apply a second coat within 1 hour or after 24 hours. A clear coat finish is not recommended. Wipe off tip before storing.

How long does it take to recoat rustoleum metallic spray paint?

Dry and recoat times are based on 70ºF and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, and is fully dry in 24 hours. Recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.

Is rustoleum metallic spray paint enamel or lacquer?

Rustoleum does make a line of lacquer spray paints in just a few colors, but stores rarely carry it - it's clearly labelled "Lacquer", all other Rustoleum is enamel.
