I just restarted my PC and found out that my icons have become wide stretched, and the selected area has become wide. I do not seem to understand what the problem is or how to fix it.
Right click on the screen and select Screen Resolution. Make sure it is on the resolution you set or the Recommended resolution.
then type dpiscaling
then a window pops
look for 'Set custom text size [DPI]' and click it
now you can choose size from the percentage list or dragging the ruler.
Right Click Desktop - View - select Large, Medium, or Classic.
For more sizes :
Right Click Desktop - Personalize [or Control Panel - Personalize]
Click Window Color and Appearance
Click Open Classic Appearance Properties
Click Advanced box
Under Item change the dropdown box to Icon
Change under Size the pixel size as you wish - default is 32
In addition, you can hold down the Ctrl Key and use the scroll wheel on the mouse to change the size of the desktop icons. Hope that helps!
